For the past 2.5 years Jeff has been assertively learning the art of classical composition under the tutelage of Kenneth Frazelle (Yo-yo Ma, Bill T. Jones ‘Still Here’) and Gareth Green (MusicMatters, UK). Classical composition is the most significant form of storytelling he has yet encountered and will continue to deeply devote himself to this path moving forward. In June 2025 he was awarded his first composers residency through .abeceda, the institute for Research in Art, Critical Thought and Philosophy. His work “The Only Mirror” will be premiered at the Bled International Music Festival in Slovenia. In September Jeff was invited to join The New Symposium, an .abeceda  think tank focused on the future of music.
